Since February 2026, every petrol station in the UK has had to report its prices to the government's Fuel Finder scheme within 30 minutes of any change. We collect that data every 30 minutes and show the Northern Ireland forecourts here, cheapest first. We don't change or reorder prices for anyone.
Saving money on fuel
Prices between neighbouring forecourts can differ by several pence a litre. On a 50-litre fill, 5p a litre is £2.50, which adds up to well over £100 a year for a typical driver filling up weekly. Supermarket forecourts are often, but not always, the cheapest in town.
We compare each forecourt with your nearest one (or the local average, if you choose). The fuel saving is the price difference multiplied by your fill-up, 50 litres unless you change it. We then take off the cost of the extra driving there and back compared with your nearest forecourt, estimating road distance as 1.25 times the straight-line distance and using your car's miles per gallon. It doesn't include your time, tolls or parking.
How often are the prices updated?
We check the government's Fuel Finder data every 30 minutes. Forecourts must report any price change within 30 minutes, so most prices here are very recent. Each price shows when it was last updated.
Why is a forecourt missing?
We only show forecourts that have reported prices to Fuel Finder. Almost all UK petrol stations now take part, but a few may be missing or late.
What if the price at the pump is different?
Prices are shown exactly as forecourts report them. If the pump price doesn't match, you can report it to the government using the 'Report a price error' link on this page.
What is the difference between E10 and E5?
E10 is standard unleaded petrol with up to 10% ethanol. E5 is super unleaded, with up to 5% ethanol. Most petrol cars built since 2011 can use E10.
